Description
It is studied the planar XY model by the Langevin equation. Both the Fourier-acceleration method and the fluctuation-dissipation theorem are used to improve efficiency of the algorithm. Results for the energy density, the correlation and the vorticity both in the high- and in the low-temperature regime are given. High-temperature expansion match very well with our data down to T near 1; the HT expansion for the vorticity has been calculated up to β9
