Determination of transfer coefficients for cesium and strontium

Description
Transfer coefficients under real conditions in the vicinity of a nuclear power plant have been studied. During 1987 the samples of milk were regularly taken and analyzed for 137Cs and 90Sr. The forage/milk transfer coefficients on the basis of the radionuclide contents were calculated. There was an influence of the method of feeding on the radionuclides in milk. Forage/beef and forage/pork transfer coefficients point out a high variability of these parameters. (author)
