Description

This paper describes an approach to design and implementation of trapezoidal filter in nuclear spectrometer using zyng-7000 evaluation platform. This design is based on the all programmable system on chip technology. The advantages of using this technology in digital filter implementation include higher sampling rates than those available from traditional DSP chip and on field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs). The implemented design can be used with Zynq-7000 all programmable system on chip platform to get filtered signal from nuclear spectrometer considering the shape of the exponential signal obtained from the preamplifier of the nuclear detectors as an input to the trapezoidal filter.
