Moessbauer γ-quanta inelastic scattering on the crystals near the structural phase transition temperature
Description
It is shown that as a result of the intensification of lowfrequency fluctuations in the structural phase transition, a noticeable amount of phonons excited in the case of inelastic scattering of gamma-quanta has an energy commensurable with the Moessbauer line width; the fact produces a certain effect on the diffuse radiation spectrum. The fractions of elastically and inelastically reflected gamma-quanta being determined by means of a Moessbauer filter permit obtaining data on the dispersion of the soft optical mode
