The neutron-deuteron problem in the hyperspherical formalism

Description

The neutron-deuteron problem is examined in hyperspherical coordinates using the Malfliet-Tjon potentials. Expanding the three-body wave function in surface functions the Schroedinger equation is solved. The triton binding energy as well as elastic scattering parameters are calculated. (orig.)
