Characterization of the thermoluminescent dosimetry system of CDTN, in terms of the Individual Dose Equivalent, Hp (10), for personnel monitoring

Description

The dosimetric system currently used in the Nuclear Technology Development Center for external individual monitoring uses thermoluminescent detectors: LiF:Mg,Ti. The objective of this work was the implementation of the Personal Dose Equivalent, Hp(10), in external individual monitoring and for this, performance tests of thermoluminescent detectors were done in photon beams with discrete energies in the 24 keV to 662 keV range. The results obtained allow to conclude that the implementation of the Hp(10) quantity was successfully achieved. (author)
