A simple calculation on backscattering of light ions of KeV energies
Description
The simple theoretical treatment of McCracken and Freeman, which was derived on the basis of large angle and single scattering process, was improved by introducing the loss factor of the incident beam and generalized to the tilting incidence. The results follow the experiments fairly well as to energy distribution, backscattering coefficient as well as angular distribution.
