Quark-meson hybrid model for nuclear force and nuclear currents
Description
Single nucleon properties, the nucleon-nucleon interaction and nuclear exchange currents are discussed in a quark-meson hybrid model (QMHM), where constituent quarks are coupled with pseudo-scalar mesons. The model seems to give a unified picture of these quantities, characterizing their short-range parts by the non-locality due to the quark exchange. Applications to complex nuclei are also discussed.
