Aluminium effect on crystal structure and superconductivity of EuBa2Cu2.62Al0.38O6.8 single crystals

Description
Methods of X-ray diffraction and modulated microwave absorption in weak magnetic fields are used to study Al effect on crystal structure and critical temperature of EuBa2(Cu,Al)4xO)7-δ single srystals. It is shown that critical temperature depends sufficiently on defectiveness of rare-earth sublattice at low Tc values, related with Al entering into the structure of CuO chains of 1:2:3 materials
