Are Moessbauer effect studies poised for renaissance? An answer based on scientometric approach

Description
Research activity in any field reaches a saturation after a period of growth. Raman effect studies defied this pattern by showing a renaissance after a period of lull. Moessbauer effect studies have close similarities in research techniques. Are there elements in the Moessbauer effect studies which will initite a renaissance of research in this field? An attempt to answer this question is made by scientometric methods. (author)
