Nuclear superdeformation
Description
The formation of the superdeformed nuclear states is discussed, and the qualitative criteria for the most probable superdeformed nuclei are suggested. The calculated results of superdeformed states in the regions A = 130 and A = 150 coincide with the criteria and indicate the wide existence of the superdeformed nuclei
