Calculation of eutectic characteristics in ternary mutual systems

Description
Study on nonvariant equilibrium characteristics according to the earlier developed multi-component system investigation complex methodology (MCSICM), making use of calculated and experimental methods, is conducted. According to MCSICM, a program in PL/1 algorithmic language was developed and tested to calculate ternary eutectic characteristics in 22 systems and compare calculation data to the experiment. Eutectic disposition concentration regions in Na, Sr parallel to Cl, MoO4 system, taken as an example, are presented. Compositions, melting temperatures of ternary eutectics are determined on the basis of the system polythermal cross section state diagrams. Comparison of experimental and calculated values of ternary eutectic point characteristics in 22 systems has demonstrated a satisfactory convergence of calculated and experimental data
