A method for position measurement of accelerated charged particle continuous beam

Description
A non-intercepting method for accelerated continuous beam position measurements is proposed. This method uses the influence of the electric field of charged particle continuous beam on the space charge emitted by an electrode positioned in the high vacuum of the accelerator chamber. The sensitivity of a position monitor designed by using this method is estimated. (author)
