Description
The article describes the evolution of the formation of conceptual approaches, criteria and regulations for radiation protection of the population affected by the Chernobyl disaster. The schemes of zoning of Belarus affected by radioactive contamination, and the dynamics of the number of settlements located in areas of radioactive contamination, and the population living in them. The data changes effective doses to the population of the post-accident period. The methodology of the valuation of radionuclide content in food. Analyzes the current international approaches and recommendations on radiation protection in the remote postaccident period. (authors)
