Description

Systematic precision conductometric measurements of characteristics of ionic transport in various materials on the basis of lead difluoride are carried out. The PbF2 rhombic (α) and cubic (β) modifications; Pb1-xYb2+x (0<x≤0.15) monocrystal cubic concentrated solid solutions; Pb0.9R0.1F2.1 isoconcentrated solid solutions, where R-La, Sm, Tb, Dy, Er, Lu, Y (polycrystals) and R-Sc (monocrystals); Pb0.67Cd0.33F2 and Pb0.67Cd0.33F2 (Ce3+) monocrystals; eutectic compounds in the NaF-PbF2-CdF2 system; glasses on the PbF2 basis were used as the study objects. The temperature dependences of ionic conductivity are studied and thermodynamic and kinetic parameters of defects formation and migration in these materials are determined. 45 refs.; 5 figs.; 7 tabs
