Response of different neutrons measurers with the new ICRP 60

The publication 60 of the ICRP has modified the factors of fluence conversion dose equivalent for the neutrons. The majority of neutrons counters are from old generation. The comparison of the two curves can give factor 2 in the measure of dose equivalents according to neutrons energy (700 keV). It is important to check in function of energy the response of neutrons counters used in radiation protection by taking the conversion factors of the ICRP 60 given in the ICRP 74. Three neutrons measurers of the old generation and a new one have been tested. The different devices answer better the new ICRP than the ICRP 21; (the devices were Studvick, Cramal and Dineutron counters, Berthold LB 123-N for the new generation and they have been tested with neutrons sources: Am-Li, Am-F, Am-B, Am-Be).
