Description
An XRF probe with coaxial system of irradiation and detection was developed for micro-XRF analysis. Coaxial configuration was acquired by employing a ring-type secondary target. A polycapillary X-ray lens was installed in the coaxial XRF probe in order to enable micro analysis. The XRF probe could be inserted into a liquid sample. The evaluation of analytical area was performed by wire scan method. The estimated value of the XRF probe was 248 μm. For its applications, the analysis of art craft and the direct analysis of solids in liquid solutions were demonstrated. (author)
