Selecting the optimum channel width of the differential discriminator when operating two radiation detectors

The effect of the discrimination level instability of a differential discriminator on the instrument general instability is evaluated quantitatively and the channel optimum width (if available) at which the stability requirements of the instrument electronic part are less rigid, is chosen
