Description

At the ENEA Frascati Research Centre pulsed standing wave RF linac in S-band have been designed for race-track microtron accelerating device and for e-beam processing tests. Among these, the destruction of PCB in transformer oil is presented, which is particularly interesting due to its environmental impact. The best results have been obtained with flowing H2, exploiting a degradation of the order of 99.9% with an absorber dose of 10 Mrad. (R.P.) 5 refs.; 1 fig
