Model of the molecular cloud TMC-1 based on the HC3N radiolines observations
Description
The Monte Carlo technique was applied to determine physical conditions in TMC-1 from HC3N observations. The model of the cloud with essentially inhomogeneous conditions in it was constructed. According this model TMC-1 is a flattened contracting spheroid. The gas temperature increases from 8K in the centre to 20K at the border of the cloud. The H2 density is equal to 2x104 cm-3 in the cloud's centre and decreases by a power law as the distance from the centre increases. Turbulent motions in TMC-1 are subsonic
