The ergonomics of chemical control

Over the past three years the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station has developed and implemented a comprehensive chemical control program. The program encompasses all United States regulatory requirements, industry guidelines, and manufacturer recommendations related to hazardous chemicals for both the compliance groups and employees. More than 35,000 man-hours were expended in the development, implementation, and maintenance of this program.
