Medical supervision for radiation workers

On the basis of reviewing the knowledge and practice in medical supervision work for radiation workers at home and abroad, the author discusses the aim, contents, health standards and its application measures of the medical supervision work for radiation workers under the present national standards. It is indicated that medical supervision is still an useful measure for guaranteeing the safety of the health of radiation workers. However it should be recognized that the aim of medical supervision is quite limited and its contents ought to be simplified, so that it will be more useful to radiation protection work
