Description
An experimental analysis has been performed for energy deposition of a lead target bombarded by 1.2 GeV protons. The analysis utilizing the LAHET code system (LCS) has shown that the LCS predicts total energy deposition values 24% in excess of that determined experimentally. Radiation environment has also been characterized for the target and discussed. (author)
