Alternatives for the disposal of low- and medium-level wastes in Taiwan area
Description
The RWA's procedures and developments in the management of low- and medium-level radioactive wastes in Taiwan area are briefly discussed. Practical experience with interim storage, techniques and centralized waste operations is reviewed. Permanent waste disposal developments in progress include underground emplacement methods, sea dumping, and safety assessments
