Electrical resistivity of Ni0.8Mo0.2: Explanation of anomalous behavior in short-range ordered alloys

We explain the counterintuitive result that increased short-range order reduces the conductivity in Ni0.8Mo0.2 and suggest an explanation for the ''K-state'' effect, in which severe deformation can significantly increase conductivity
