Verification of proton flare forecasting method based on growth effect of long-period pulsations of decimeter solar radiation
Description
The checking of methods of short-term forecasting of solar geoeffective flares from solar decimeter radio emissions long-period pulsation observations in 1984-1986 is carried out. The proofing results are the same as those obtained during the observations in 1979-1983. Long-period pulsations not accompanied by proton flares are analysed too. With considerable degree of probability, these long-period pulsations are determined by the arising of new active regions and outgoing of a violent magnetic flux
