Correlation between x-ray absorption edge shift and Fermi energy

Description
The chemical shift of x-ray absorption edges of various compounds of Co, Cu, Ga, As, Mo and W has been calculated using Fermi energy data. The calculated and experimentally observed values agree fairly well. (Author)
