The information brochure first recapitulates the main goals of the BMFT-sponsored materials research programme launched in 1985, and then gives an interim account as of 1988, of results obtained in the subject fields of ceramics, powder metallurgy, metallic high-temperature materials and special materials, new polymers, and composite materials.
