Peritectic to eutectic transition in the systems: PbF2-RF3
Description
Methods of differential thermal (DTA) and X-ray phase analyses of annealed and hardened samples are used to study PbF2-RF3 (R=Nd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Lu) system T-x-diagrams. Fluorite structure Pb1-xRxF2+x solid solutions, which melting character is changed from peritectic in NdF3 system to eutectic one with maximum on melting curves (systems with TbF3, DyF3, HoF3, LuF3), are detected. Phases on the basic of Pb4R3F17 (R=Tb, Dy, Ho, Lu) compounds are brought out
