Financing problems with the THTR-300 reactor at Hamm-Uentrop

Description
The obligations of the Federal Government and of the Land North-Rhine Westfalia as of October 1991 are as defined in the framework contract of November 13, 1989. In this contract, the Federal Government commits itself to pay financial contributions to the fund I up to a total sum of DM 168 millions, of which DM 120 millions had been paid until October 1991. The Land had committed itself to pay about DM 115 millions, of which the fund received DM 81 millions by October 1991. Up to October 1991, there was no commitment on the part of the Federal Government or the Land government to make financial contributions to fund II. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Die Verpflichtungen des Bundes und des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalens im Oktober 1991 ergeben sich aus dem Rahmenvertrag vom 13. November 1989. Darin verpflichtet sich der Bund, Finanzierungsbeitraege zugunsten des Treuhandfonds I in Hoehe von insgesamt 168 Mio. DM zu leisten, von denen bis Oktober 1991 120 Mio. DM vom Bund eingezahlt worden waren. Die entsprechende Verpflichtung des Landes betrug ca. 115 Mio. DM, von denen zu dem in Frage stehenden Zeitpunkt bereits 81 Mio. DM in den Treuhandfonds eingebracht worden waren. Zahlungsverpflichtungen des Bundes oder des Landes zugunsten des Treuhandfonds II bestanden im Oktober 1991 nicht. (orig.)Additional details
