Description
We describe some non-supersymmetric string models where the leading perturbative contributions to the cosmological constant vanish. String duality is used to shed light on the strong coupling behavior of these models. A possible connection with a more general program of finding non-supersymmetric string models using the AdS/CFT correspondence is outlined. (author)
