Investigation of collisions of Ne+ and Ar+ ions with the surface of Be, C, Al, and Au by electron and ion spectroscopy

Description
The spectra of the electrons and scattered ions, freed from the Be, C, Al targets by bombarding through the Ne+ and Ar+ ions with the energy of 1-5 keV are measured. The values of the energy inelastic losses and their dependence on the distance of the closest approach by the collisions are determined from the scattering spectra. It is shown, that combined analysis of the electron and ion spectra provides for the mutually compatible and mutually supplementary information on the ion inelastic collision with the solid body

Измерены спектры освобождаемых электронов и рассеянных ионов при бомбардировке мишеней из Be, C, Al и Au ионами Ne+ и Ar+ с энергией 1-5 кэВ. Из спектров по рассеянию определены величины неупругих потерь энергии и их зависимость от расстояния наибольшего сближения при столкновении. Показано, что совместный анализ электронных и ионных спектров дает взаимно согласующуюся и взаимодополняющую информацию о неупругом столкновении иона с твердым теломAdditional details
