Description
Uranium sorption by olivine with application of the chemical desorption method was studied within the frames of the problem on assuring the safety of underground radioactive wasters storages. Long-term interaction of olivine with water under storage conditions was modeled with application of autoclave technique. Ground olivine was moistened in water and brought in contact with uranium (6) in titanium autoclave. Uranium sorption and its distribution on the near-the-surface layer were studied with application of the step-by-step desorption
