Magnetic ordering in the ZrNi1-xCrxSn compound

Description
The static magnetic properties and X-band electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectra of ZrNi1-xCrxSn solid solutions (x = 0.005; 0.01; 0.05; 0.10; 0.20; 0.25) were investigated in the 84/450 K temperature range. On the basis experimental data analysis it was shown, that for small Cr concentrations the magnetic ordering occurs, which reveals in magnetic susceptibility and EPR spectra. Features of magnetic dipolar and exchange interactions of the Cr3+ ions in ZrNi1-xCrxSn lattice are discussed. (orig.)
