γ-emission within a statistical multistep reaction model
Description
A unique description of emission spectra as well as excitation functions in nuclear reactions is proposed within a pure statistical multistep approach. This approach is based on random matrix physics and derives from Green's function formalism. In this model the total emission spectrum of the reaction is divided in three main parts: The first one is the statistical multistep direct part, the second one is the statistical multistep compound emission, and the third one is the multiple particle emission. 34 refs, 18 figs, 1 tab
