Description
The International Commission on Radiation Units and Measurements (ICRU) initiated a report on nuclear data. The ICRU Report also presents neutron fluence-to-kerma conversion coefficients ('kerma coefficients') which are calculated from the evaluated cross sections. The present paper shows that this set of kerma coefficients is consistent with existing experimental data. The evaluated cross sections and kerma coefficients of the ICRU Report are therefore a sound basis for transport calculations as well as for calculations of absorbed dose, radiation-induced heating and damage
