Description

Iron aerosols in atmospheric air were studied by Moessbauer spectroscopy. Samples were prepared from membrane filters through which atmospheric air was pumped for 24 hours. The results of measurements at room and liquid nitrogen temperatures were fully reproducible. The Moessbauer parameters computed by the least square method are discussed in great detail. (A.K.)
