Description
Non-stationary Josephson and quasiparticle currents, and quasiparticle conductance across tunnel junctions with charge-density wave (CDW) superconductors are calculated. Riedel-type singularities and jumps are found at biases vertical stroke eV vertical stroke = 2D, 2Δ, and D + Δ (symmetrical junctions) and at D + ΔBCS, Δ + ΔBCS (non-symmetrical ones). Here e is the electron charge, D = √((Δ2 + Σ2)), Δ and ΔBCS are the superconducting gaps for CDW and BCS superconductors, Σ is the dielectric gap. The possibility of non-symmetrical current-voltage dependence for symmetrical junctions is shown. Calculations are made for NbSe3. (orig.)
