Description

The facile chemical synthesis method was used for preparing Trimetallic Fe-Co-V/Zeolite and Fe-Co-Mo/Zeolite composite nanostructures. The structural functionalities and morphological observations were obtained using characterization techniques of field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transfer infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). The results indicated the formation of irregular and no-shaped nanostructures for both Fe-Co-V/Zeolite and Fe-Co-Mo/Zeolite composite nanostructures. The optical characterization was conducted by UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (UV-Vis DRS). The optical studies were revealed band-gap energies equivalent to 3.0 and 3.5 eV for Fe-Co-V/Zeolite and Fe-CoMo/Zeolite samples. The morphological features of sample were investigated with a Zeiss (EM10C -Germany) transmission electron microscope (TEM) operating at 100 kV respectively. (author)
