Description
The report presents a survey of generation and handling of low and intermediate level radioactive wastes in Swiss nuclear power plants. The flow of wastes from the sources of generation to the intermediate storage building on site is shown in simplified diagrams. The waste handling equipment, the characteristics of the solidified radioactive wastes, and the intermediate storage building on site have been described. (author)
