Does u-channel in t-plane influence on behaviour of forward scattering differential cross sections at high energies forward scattering differential cross sections at high energies
Description
Proceeding from unitarity conditions and from analyticity in z=cos THETA, it is shown that the main contribution to the differential cross-section of forward elastic scattering is made by t-channel singularities. The result obtained within the frame work of the Mandelstam representation is of precise character and is not related to some particular assumptions
