A barrier against the diffusion of copper into the zirconium alloy
Description
The procedure to introduce a layer of zirconium dioxide for the main part on the inside of a tube made of a zirconium alloy is described. The barrier is formed between an electrolytically deposited layer of copper and the tube, and counteracts the diffusion of copper into the zirconium alloy. (G.B.)
