Status on experiments with an optical klystron in the IYaF SO AN SSSR

Description
Results of experiments with an optical klystron (OK) at the VEPP-3 storage ring are presented. The OK comprises two multilayer dielectric mirrors with maximum of reflection at the wave length equal to 6300 A. The OK-3 magnetic system represents three separable sections: two ondulators and a buncher. The buncher is a compensated wiggler with three poles. Magnetic field is generated by six coils with series feed. The magnetic system ensures amplification factor equal to 6-8% per flight at the current of 25 mA. Beam parameters in the VEPP-3 storage ring and parameters of the OK-2 and OK-3 magnetic systems arepresented
