Description

We report the first cyclotron resonance measurements on (BEDT-TTF)2KHg(SCN)4, which yield an effective mass of m*cyc = (0.40±0.02)me at 1.2 K; transport measurements give m*tr ≅2.0 me. Using Kohn's theorem we propose that the enhancement of m*tr over m*cyc is the first direct gauge of the electron-electron interaction in a metallic charge transfer salt. (orig.)
