Description
A study on the compatibility and difference of the emergency preparedness and response arrangements between BAPETEN Chairman Decree No. 1 Year 2010: Nuclear Emergency Preparedness and Response, against the IAEA Safety Standard Series No. GSR part 7: Preparedness and Response for a Nuclear or Radiological Emergency has been conducted. The aims of the study are to analyse the difference and to identify any improvement needed in order to be in line with the international consensus. The study has identified 6 (six) IAEA No. GSR part 7 requirements which have been comprehensively regulated in the BAPETEN Chairman Decree, 11 (eleven) IAEA No. GSR part 7 requirements which are need to be improved in the established BAPETEN Chairman Decree, and 8 (eight) IAEA No. GSR part 7 requirements which are need to be added in the established BAPETEN Chairman Decree.
