Description
The present invention can be used for calibrating neutron moisture gases with applications in soil moisture monitoring and other materials control in construction, agriculture, metal industries, mining. The neutron moisture gas calibration technique including the steps of slow neutron count rate evaluation in a standard moderator and in artificial moisture equivalents, and building calibration plots based on the ratio of those is unique due to the fact that, in order to simplify the method, the artificial moisture equivalents are obtained by changing the neutron detector-source distance
