Description

A single-purpose equipment is described designed for measuring the spectral density of power noise in a frequency range of 0.1 to 10 Hz. The block diagram of the equipment is presented. The principal part of the equipment is a spectrum analyzer based on digital filters. The equipment is supplied by a central power supply block mechanically connected to a frequency analyzer. The analyzer block diagram is also given. The basic memory and display block of the DIDAC 4000 multichannel analyzer operating in the sequential time analysis mode was used as the recording unit. When the DIDAC 4000 memory is fully utilized, up to 180 consecutive complete spectra may be recorded. The measuring modes are listed which may be adjusted using the analyzer control unit. (J.P.)
