Description
Apparatus and methods are disclosed for cooling a superconducting magnet by circulating a pressurized helium gas through a convective cooling loop by natural convection, and apparatus and methods have been provided for quickly and effectively cooling a warm superconducting magnet down to operating temperature. 7 figs
