The uranium is associated with radioactivity and however, its more common isotopes present low radioactivity. This has been used to date the age of the Earth. Its importance is vital to supply electricity from nuclear power. For some years the price of concentrate was decreasing. However, in the last years it has increased dramatically. There are still about 1,500 to of high enrichment uranium from the Cold War. Their blending and use in nuclear conventional power stations would allow their disappearance and the fall of prices. The nuclear fuel waste still keeps a high energetic power. Its reprocessing in a long term seems to be inevitable. (Author)
