Preparation and characterization of superconducting ceramics

Description
The influence of the temperature and time in the reaction and sinterization of superconducting ceramics TRBa2 Cu3O7-x (TR=Y and Tm) was determined. The results show clearly that some of its properties like critical temperature, magnectic suscebility and resistivity undergo a strong influence of the preparation conditions in this system. (author)

A influencia da temperatura e do tempo de reacao e sinterizacao na preparacao de amostras ceramicas supercondutoras em sistemas tipo TrBa2Cu3O7-x (Tr=Y e Tm) foram estudadas. Os resultados mostram cclaramente que algumas propriedades destes materiais, tais como: temperatura critica, suscetibilidade magnetica e resistividade sofrem forte influencia das condicoes de preparacao.
